In 1999 The Archdiocese of Indianapolis contracted with a locally-owned management services company, Buchanan Group Inc., to operate their cemeteries.  Buchanan Group is a sister company of Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Centers, another locally-owned company that has served the Indianapolis community since 1881.

The Archdiocese of Indianapolis continues to own the cemeteries that make up the Catholic Cemeteries Association.

Flanner & Buchanan, we are pleased to say, donates a percentage of all pre-need funeral contracts written by Catholic Cemeteries Association family service advisors to the Archdiocese. Funeral services can be set up such that visitations can occur either in the funeral center or in your parish church, provided there is space and time available.
